As we were studying the maps, etc., Andy saw a spot called Mystic Springs.
With due diligence, I did a search of hot springs in Utah. Sure enough, there was Mystic Springs listed with a very lovely write up. Since it was basically along our way we decided to check it out.
The little town was clean, nestled in hills surrounding it. We turned onto the road leading to Mystic Springs and the mystic just have lost it's magic. The neighborhood became more and more sketchy. Roads became more steep with lots of pea gravel.
There was no way we could get into the place. As it was we had to unhook the car, back the motorhome around, rehitch the car and go down the road. A little disappointed but it was an adventure.
Beautiful state, Utah. Only one ugly city so far - Provo/Salt Lake. The dust from the mines, car pollution, etc., makes it almost impossible to see. Everything looks dirty.
It may just be a case of 'wrong time' of year or circumstances. I am not impressed with Utah's cities.
