We are on our way

We finally got under way late Friday night at 10:30. It was a hectic day rushing around having to buy a new car dolly, as I could not find any used ones which had brakes that we needed; some of the states require them and certainly we need them to get into Canada. All of that set us back quite a ways in time. After finishing loading the motorhome, I now had the task of my first attempt of loading the van on to the car dolly. It actually went quite well, being able to get it with the first try. As you can see from the pictures below, it is a long rig and we needed to stay in the semi truck parking lot.

After leaving at 10:30 we drove until about 2:30 in the morning. We slept until about 7:30, that some breakfast and we're back on the road again towards Pensacola where Ava's sister lives getting there about 11 o'clock in the morning.

Ava's sister Bonnie, and her husband Cliff, showed some wonderful hospitality to both of us. Much appreciated was the fresh vegetables that Ava help pick in the garden and we had for supper.
